I mean that single mothers who have children out of wedlock are seen as bad women and women who became single moms by divorce are seen in the same light. I’m just frustrated with this.

Thanks for your comments. I think it helps to see both sides of dating. Your feelings are surely sincere, but single men who date without the intent of marrying have many reasons to avoid single mothers. Single men who date to find a wife are a little different. Regardless, though, non-parents [man or woman] who are dating see a single parent and question their foresight and judge of character to have brought a child into a doomed relationship in the first place. Just being honest. Cheers.

That way I can prepare to be alone. I’m all for men’s rights not to be with a woman with kids…but it’s the comments that get me. Almost as if the kids planned to be there to jack up the relationship. I am glad that some men are coming out saying that if they had their own child with the woman who already had children, he’d show favoritism. Makes it easier for some women to move on.
