Why do people expect childless people to date single parent?
March 9, 2011 | 2 Comments
Anytime I, a childless person, tell my friends that I don’t want to date a man with a child, almost all call me selfish and limiting my options. Why should I deal with extra drama and not coming in first, when I’m expect to put the man first and bring little to no drama with me?
I understand your point of view. I don’t share it, but I totally get it. I don’t think it’s selfish at all. You haven’t chosen to have a child up to this point so there is no reason you would suddenly want to add that factor into your life.

TIps on dating a single father?
November 3, 2010 | 6 Comments
I have been in a relationship with a man I love for a little over 9 months. We are serious and committed to each other. I have always been supportive and understanding of his schedule and know what his priorities are. I still have not met his child and of course have not pressed the issue because I feel its up to him to decide when the time is right. We are both in our 30′s. Everything has been great but lately, I’ve been feeling left out and kind of upset that we can only do things on weeknights at a semi late hours (we both have hectic work schedules), and never on weekends when he has his son. Do I have the right to want more? I would love to do things with him and his son on the weekends too.I have been very patient, but I feel like its running out. I don’t know if I should stay in a relationship that I feel is part time.
You just answered your very own question. He’s not a single father!! He has VISITATION oi!
Let’s see: weeknights only, semi late hours (so he can get back in the house w/ a plauseable excuse)
He doesn’t want you to meet his child, because the child will TELL!
Honey, do you have children??
The wife is sick of his crap! so he’s on a bit of probation…You need to know something, man doesn’t really want to leave his child. EVER. He messed up, and he’s trying to prove himself. You allowed him to USE you. So stop it and move on. If you don’t have a baby, find someone else who doesn’t, get married and have a baby. You deserve that don’t you think? If you DO have a child, and they haven’t had a "play date" then you are really are not facing reality. WAKE UP

O! and you are NOT in a serious/committed relation if he’s not available to you 24/7
Does anyone have any dating tips?

I am a 13 year old girl and I have a boyfriedn and I need advice. So can you please give me some first date locations and ideas, flirting tips, things to talk about and stuff like that. Thanks.
take him out to a restaurant I would say quite simply. conversation can be tricky in some cases so use subject topics that you know he is interested in or even better something you both share an interest in for example a sport, movie, event, type of music etc. one thing you need to remember is seeing as this is your first date he will probably be feeling equally as nervous. in terms of flirting, give him compliments, guys do like being complimented and this could be from one of the example topic above so you could for example go on about a sport then compliment him on how good he is at it. remember at the end of the date, tell him what a good time you had and this may even lead to a kiss ![]()
