eHarmony has about 19 million single members looking for love, and a national Harris poll found eHarmony’s site is responsible for about 44,000 weddings a year and more than 100,000 babies born so far from the site’s cybermatchmaking.
EHarmony uses a mathematical algorithm that picks partners based on a 258-question personality test that asks things like, “Do you have a messy room?” or “Do you get angry easily?”
The questions come from the company’s study of 5,000 married couples. The findings show the more alike you and your partner are, the longer your marriage will last…

You want to know why it doesn’t work? They can add all the “dimensions of compatibility” that they want, but when it comes down to it, no number of those can circumvent attraction. I had an account on that site for about 3 years. Went on several dates, and I have to admit I wasn’t attracted to 99% of them. The other 1% wasn’t attracted to me. That’s why it’s all BS. Not to mention the fact that the women post old photos of themselves, back when they were more attractive!!!

Tried another site myself and nothing but African scams from Ghana that I saw right away. People stop wasting your money on these dating sights and work jobs which make you more social. No, it sucks. I tried it for 6 months and didn’t get one date out of it. I’m not bad looking and have a descent job. None of my matches would communicate to me and rejected me with the excuse “they felt the chemistry wasn’t there”. Yeah right, how is that when I just started the communication process. If you go to eharmony’s forum a lot of people complain about their matches not communicating. People judge a lot based on looks and or career on there. That’s my conclusion anyway.
