He won’t tell me where we’re going cause he wants it to be a surprise, so how the hell am I supposed to know what to wear!!!!! I wanna wear heels but I’m wondering what if where we’re going requires comfortable shoes? Ugh I don’t know. Help?

Girl.. i feel your pain. Stay away from the heels it might look like your trying alittttle too hard. But go for a cute causal dress and a pair of sandals/ flats. Than you can dress it up with earrings and bracelets that would make it a little be fancy just in case you go somewhere nice! Im sure anything you wear will look great but, you can never go wrong with a dress !

Tips Dating a russian man?

I recently started dating a russian man, he is very sweet, kind and respects me unlike any guy I’ve ever dated. I am just a little confused though because is just…different. I take it because of cultural differences? He is very mysterious still even though we’ve been on several dates, he is quiet and I have a hard time getting him to talk about himself. Sometimes I worry that he doesn’t like me as much as I thought because he is distant but then he will reconfirm that by kissing me or telling me how he feels in texts.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on russian dating customs and/or morals. Will he get offended if I try to pay for something? I read somewhere that they like girly girls is this true? Should I let him make all the moves? I am just so confused and I don’t want to ruin this because of cultural differences. I don’t even know what he wants out of our relationship… should I just ask? Any advice would be appreciated

Hey, well i live in a post-soviet country and you can trust me on this one — i Know alot about Russia and its culture. Russian men aren’t very talkative. But the reason that he is so quiet in real life but open in texts may as well be his shyness. I mean, if his native language isn’t English, and he has just recently started to talk in English all the time. It may very well be the reason. He may be afraid to seem funny. He likes you for sure.
And yes, he might get offended. But really nowadays Russians aren’t that manly and it solely depends on his family. But the way it used to be is that the woman shouldn’t ever pay. And he will most probably stop you and not let you pay anyway.
He likes you. it doesn’t matter whether russian men like girly girls or not — all men like girly girls. They like GIRLS. Anyway… If you just started dating it isn’t a good idea to ask about what he wants out of the relationship.

Generally Russian men and the ‘cocky’ type. They are the MEN and they show it. There is a term ‘Russkiy Bogatir’ It is translated as Russian Hero. Russian Men were very Big and Fought for their countries to save their women. Very honest and not too clever. Anyway, Russia is very different now and i think that you shouldn’t worry that much. Maybe you should show him that you are interested in his culture and ask him adn learn from him? That will broaden your views and knowledge as well as bring up new topics and things in common between you. Establish a new connection and maybe help you understand him better and help him get rid of his shyness of the accent or whatever if he has it. ANyway it will only help your relationship if you talk about it.
Also, you can learn some phrases. Say ‘Ti moy Ruskiy Bogatir’ to him ^^ hehe. That’s like : You’re my Russian Hero x)

But maybe the guy just isn’t talkative? It is women that are the talkative ones anyway.

Can anyone give me some dating tips (for London)?
I’m a 17-year-old Turkish girl and I’m going to stay in London for a month (i’ll attend a language course and stay with a family). I wonder how flirting and dating things goes there. For example will he expect sex from me in a time shorter than a month? Or do boys pay for drinks or cinema tickets on a date?(In Turkey they do.) Any tips would be welcome!!:)

ask the family if they know any people your age so you could make some friends! its much better to meet a guy through people, theyre usually a lot more trustworthy! sex is different for everyone, if he expects it sooner than you want, stick up for yourself and just talk about it with him! but if it seems right and youre up for fun then go for it – make sure hes a good guy though, you dont want to be messed around. get your purse out and if hes a nice guy he’ll say dont worry ill pay. offer to split the cost of both your stuff, but really a guy should pay! they should offer and then you know he’s into you!!!

So I’ve been in the dating game for a while now and can’t seem to figure out the dating game. It’s getting kind of annoying because it’s always the married men that are hitting on me. Am I attracting them? I was just wondering what are your rules on dating a man? And do you have any tips or clues if it will last or he’s faithful? thanks ladies!

I don’t date. I make friends. If I like them, that’s the time I date them. I have to get to know them first. Are they they married? What do they do? Are they nice people? I have to know him first before I date him.

I am kind of old-fashioned. I don’t make the first move, I am hard to get. So the guy who is most persistent gets a date with me. I am not the prettiest in town but I am choosy because I only want to date nice men.You can when you believe you can.

I think we both like each other.

She’s new to dating, & isn’t really good at it.

When we text she gets nervous about what to say.

She only texts when she doesn’t know if I like her or am upset.
