What are the good places to find a date?

Well I asked last time if how does getting a girlfriend starts? So now my next step is – where to find dates.
Where do you think are the best places to find someone to date, except for bars and clubs (I was warned not to get dates on those places if I wanted a serious relationship.
Hoping for your awesome answers 
I don’t really think you can go loking for it to be honest. I think its more about the right place at the right time. I met my bf of 8months at a train station ahahaha
