I don’t have a problem with parents disciplining their children, but what this woman did was verbally abused her child (18.42-18.58). Yes, the child probably used too much dressing then she was supposed to. Make the child clean up her own mess and eat what she made. Never threaten with violence, she will get over eating the dressing, but verbal abuse will last longer.

When I was young i was a good kid I can say I only got “spanked” two times. But honestly it didn’t help I just felt hurt and cried my eyes out, with me talking to me and not “yelling” was way more effective b/c I’m sensitive and when I was young I was really sensitive. I understand though that it doesn’t work with all kids but I wish parents would at least try to talk it out first b/c sometimes it’s a lot more effective. :/
