If you are already having doubts, don’t make it about video games. Go out and do things with her, have fun, but don’t make this your life. If she disapproves of you playing video games, you don’t have to continue dating her. It’s who you are.

She probably has no interest or intention of really getting you involved in her child’s life, so I wouldn’t sweat that either. Just treat them like you would anyone else.
As for the video games… I’m 40 and every once in a while I play guitar hero with my 16 and 18 year old sons, so I don’t think that’s a big deal. Now, if you are laying around in your underwear playing 1/2 the day, then I’d be concerned.
But hey… you guys are just dating. You shouldn’t be trying to figure out how to ‘change’ yourself for her. If she decides that it isn’t working out for her, at 43 years old, I can almost guarantee that she will just tell you straight up.

The age difference isnt that great at your age. Enjoy the fun. I would suggest not to get too serious. My brother was in a similar situation and was more like a best mate to the son. More than being with the older woman. A lot of people commented about it.
If you want children of your own how can you settle down with someone who is probably past raising children.
I would suggest you go for it, keep it light enjoy yourself and she may be able to teach you a thing ar two.

I am dating a 43 year old woman, I am 32. She has a 16 year old kid, I don;t have any kids. We got set up through a mutual friend, but I feel completely out of her league. The biggest thing that bothers me is that I still like to do things that maye be looked at as immature, like I play videogames, not a whole lot, but once in a while.
